Midland Deburr and Finish invest in new machinery following high profile order
Having been commissioned by their client to degrease high volumes of fasteners, Midland Deburr and Finish decided to make a substantial investment into purchasing two extra machines. One of the machines has been used to increase existing component finishing capacity to cope with the increased volumes, whilst the other one is to be used for removing oil and swarf from the plastic containers used to transport the fasteners.
Usually dealing with the fastener cleaning processes in-house, the component manufacturer was experiencing capacity and quality issues. Following a trial processing at Midland Deburr and Finish Ltd which produced excellent component cleanliness results, the Midlands firm was eventually assigned a percentage of the business.
According to Midland Deburr & Finish Ltd’s Managing Director, Chris Arrowsmith, ”This extra automotive business has cemented our reputation as a leading component finishing supplier to Tier 1 manufacturing companies within the UK. It is one of our highest priorities to constantly invest in our business to ensure stability and growth for the future.”
